I’ve always liked the idea of using wood in conjunction with lighting, I think incorporating the curves and twists of steam bent timber with light introduces interest to the piece as well creating pleasing shadows when in use.
My curved steam bent table lamp design has evolved over time since making the first one. Originally a simple square edge base with matching bend made from Ash it is now available made from a variety of different timber species with square edge or rounded over edges.
To add further texture and character to this curved design it is also available with a variety of live/waney edge or reclaimed timber bases, examples can be found in the gallery, please feel free to contact me to discuss timber availability and options.
This design is also available as floor standing lamps. Wall lamps with a similar steam bent curve will also be available soon.

Wood & Cable Combinations
Six fabric covered cable colours that I stock for my lamps mounted onto some pieces of Ash, Oak and Elm, the timber species I use most regularly.
The colours are Hessian, Uniform Brown, Denim, Utility Green, Red & White Chequered and Multi Coloured.
